2. Of course it is generally permitted that characters don't obey school rules or laws - but please be aware of the consequences in case your character gets caught by a Prefect, teacher or employee of the Ministry.
3. Electronic devices which require any kind of network (e.g. mobile phones) do not work at Hogwarts or other magically surrounded buildings. Other devices (e.g. cameras) can get their required energy out of the magic from their environment.
4. Nobody except the Headmaster can apparate or disapparte at Hogwarts. Generally, witches and wizards learn how to apparte at 16 and can apply for the official permission at 17. If written In-Play, characters can learn how to apparate earlier illegally.
5. Generally, the Patronus charm is taught in sixth form. Younger magicians can only know this charm with a reason in their profile or In-Play.
6. First year students can only play in the Quidditch team of their house in please enter "Na" into the profile field "Have you read the rules?" cases of exception (with an Administrator's permission).
7. In case you carry out any kind of fight In-Play, please talk about the outcome before. Please take into consideration that in most cases, students will be defeated by fully educated magicians. The rule also applies if you want to kill or physically harm anyone!
8. Generally, any character can join any play at any time if they have the theoretical possibility to enter the location where it takes place. (Students cannot exit Hogwarts or, at the weekends, Hogsmeade, without permission; adults who do not work there cannot enter Hogwarts and Muggles cannot enter any magically protected place on their own!) Exceptions are magically locked rooms.
9. It is not possible for your characters to be in two places (~two or more plays) at the same time. Please just shortly finish your old play before you start a new one. Exceptions are events, past and future plays.
10. It is equally permitted to use the Novel Style (your character's view in full sentences as if you wrote a book) or the Chat Style (e.g. *what your character does*, //what your character thinks//, "what your character says") in every way, but please stick to one grammatical person and time.
Please enter "tu" into the profile field "Have you read the rules?".
